Financial Advisor
Nearly every job I’ve held has been in the capacity of helping others. I began in the financial industry as a receptionist and client service representative. As I learned more about roles and responsibilities, I saw how well my strengths matched with the opportunities available. I pursued further professional development and obtained licenses 7 and 66 which refined my ability to help people at a more focused level. I enjoy being able to answer financial questions, talk through concerns, research topics, and help people reach their long-term goals.
My favorite thing about being a part of the Hurlow Team is that there is camaraderie between team members. Each person in the firm is approachable and offers in-depth reasoning to questions or concerns. I am impressed by the unity and support offered and that we work together to solve issues.
I am passionate about serving people and helping meet the needs of others. I am especially drawn to underprivileged people groups and demographics. Besides helping on a local level, I am also passionate about the impact of global organizations. I recognize the importance of sustainability and education to support people to meet their own needs and build the framework to move out of impoverished situations.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my children, reading, putting together puzzles, lifting, and dancing. I love connecting with people through networking events, lunches, or casual get-togethers.
I lived in Costa Rica, Mexico, and El Salvador for a total of two years during high school, while my parents completed a two-year humanitarian assignment.
