Why did you choose your profession?

I have been passionate about money and investing since I was a kid. I always talked about stocks and started investing in some of my favorite companies. On top of this I was always willing and ready to help people. I chose financial planning because I get the opportunity to do what I love and help people realize their financial goals along the way.

What is your favorite thing about being part of the Hurlow team?

My favorite part about being a member of the Hurlow Wealth Management family is the people. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable. Which makes work not only fun but fulfilling. When I was looking for a job post-grad, I noticed a clear difference and Hurlow set itself apart from the pack.

What causes are you passionate about?

One of my favorite causes I got involved in was rescuing and releasing sea turtles in Indonesia. In the region many fishermen will poach the turtles for their extremely valuable shell. Our organization received turtles that had been confiscated from these fishermen and released them back into the ocean. This was not only fulfilling but an unforgettable experience.

What do you love to do outside of work?

Outside of work I love to go fishing, go skiing, play golf, and watch the Chicago Bears. Me and my girlfriend love to hike and explore new places together.

What is a fun fact about you?

I once jumped off a cliff for fun, now I jump into financial plans with the same energy. (just with a little more due diligence)
